Quality Assurance

LSTM’s quality framework covers a wide range of strategies and policies, all of which are in place to ensure that we continue to develop and maintain high standards of academic excellence.

The school’s strategy for learning and teaching quality assurance and enhancement is designed to ensure the continuing development of LSTM as an effective and inclusive learning community in which all students and staff are both learners and active participants.

There are two Committees which manage the University’s business in relation to the maintenance and enhancement of quality and standards in learning and teaching. These are:

• Quality Management Committee (QMC)
• Learning & Teaching Committee (L&T)

There is interaction between the work of these committees, though the structure is intended to ensure that conflicts of interest do not arise.
